Web Desk The district administration has issued fresh poultry rates for Friday, 03 April 2026, providing updated prices for chicken meat, live birds, and eggs across Lahore markets.
According to the officially released rate list, the price of farm gate live chicken stands at Rs. 383 per kilogram, while wholesale rate has been fixed at Rs. 397 per kilogram. The retail chicken meat price has been set at Rs. 411 per kilogram, giving consumers a clearer benchmark for market purchases.
Meanwhile, the rate for small chicks has been listed at Rs. 59 per bird, while one-day broiler chicks are being sold at Rs. 67.80 per chick.
For egg buyers, the administration has notified that farm eggs are available at Rs. 230 per dozen, reflecting stable pricing in the city’s poultry sector.
The official notification has been issued under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Lahore and PAMRA, aimed at controlling artificial price hikes and ensuring fair rates for consumers.
Citizens have also been advised to report overcharging through the official complaint helpline.
