In a landmark move toward Digital Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the transition to a fully digital degree attestation system. The new technology will eliminate the need for physical document submission and in-person visits to HEC offices.
To implement this blockchain-based platform, HEC has signed a formal agreement with CMPak Limited and its joint venture partner, Wibbow Technologies. The system is designed to provide a seamless online experience where students can submit requests and track their applications in real-time.
Key Benefits for Students:
- Global Access: Graduates living abroad or in remote areas can verify credentials without traveling.
- Security: Blockchain technology ensures that verified degrees are tamper-proof and easily shareable with employers.
- Deadline: The system is scheduled to be fully operational by June 30, 2026.
