The Government of Pakistan has increased fuel prices for the second half of February 2026, notifying fresh rates for petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight beginning February 16, 2026. Under the petroleum division’s latest notification, petrol prices have been raised by Rs. 5 per litre to Rs. 258.17, while diesel prices have gone up by Rs. 7.32 per litre to Rs. 275.70. The revision follows movements in international crude oil markets and recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The latest rates replace those announced in the previous fortnight, when petrol remained at Rs. 253.17 per litre and diesel stood at Rs. 268.38 per litre. Analysts say the rise in diesel prices could further strain transport and logistics costs, pushing inflation pressures higher in consumer goods and services.
